Our Mission
The parents, students, faculty and support staff at Adams Middle School are committed to the pursuit of excellence in all curricular and co-curricular endeavors; and the cultivation of individual abilities and talents, in a safe, healthy, supportive environment where respect for individual and group differences and for the rights of others guide behavior.
Our "Steps to Success" program is predicated on the belief that every student can be successful. We extend library school hours from 7:15 AM to 4:00 PM every day to provide computer access, homework assistance, and research support to our youngsters. After school Homework Clubs are staffed by caring adults who help monitor and motivate homework completion. Intervention classes in math and reading assist students by strengthening basic skills required for high school success.
Parental support is critical not only for students but to the implementation and evaluation of our efforts as well. Our parents attend Family Nights, offer volunteer tutoring expertise, and communicate with one another regularly. We count on the continued contributions of many dedicated adults as we share the challenges of educating in a quality middle school environment.
