Intermediate Band
Most students enter Intermediate Band after at least one year of playing. Some, however, enter Intermediate Band after only one semester of Beginning Band. Intermediate Band is great for students coming to Adams . who have played in band at elementary school. It is not too hard, and not too easy! In addition to the Beginning Band instruments, we add alto and bass clarinet, tenor sax, and french horn.
We will learn much more about music theory in Intermediate Band, and even attempt to write some music. Students may be required to purchase an Intermediate Band method book for this class. As with all of the band classes at Adams, individual practicing is very important. We participate in the Adams Winter and Spring Concerts.
