PTA Membership is open to all Beryl families, students and teachers and is strongly encouraged. PTA provides numerous valuable programs to the school, through fundraising and volunteer work. By joining PTA you will directly help support your children and school. The Beryl PTA serves to promote the goals of the Parent Teacher Association which include: Promoting the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship. Raising the standards of home life. Securing adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth. Bringing into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth. Developing between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education. Did you know that the National PTA is the oldest and largest volunteer association working exclusively on behalf of all children and youth? Beryl General Assembly meetings are held once a month, in either the school library or cafeteria. Please show your school spirit by attending a meeting and joining the Beryl PTA.
