Hi, my name is Mrs. Berardino. I am a kindergarten teacher at Birney Elementary. This is my 15th year of teaching in the district although I student taught Home Economics at West High School. I have my master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration. I've been the teacher in charge at Birney for the past 10 years. I'm also on the School Site Council and participate in several committees at school.
Personally, I have 3 children and live with 2 of them and my husband in Redondo Beach. My oldest daughter is grown. In my spare time I love to read, get together with family and friends, sew, interior design, shop, eat, exercise, listen to music, and anything to do with art! I'm never bored!
I love our Birney community and our staff. We have a lot of fun together outside of school as well as on the job.
