Miss Chew was born in El Paso, Texas, and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She also has a Master's degree in Computer Education from California State University Dominguez Hills. She has been teaching young learners for 28 years, and she cares about children and animals immensely!
During the summer, Miss Chew teaches Drawing and Cartooning lessons sponsored by the College for Youth program at El Camino College. Students ages 7-17 from all over the South Bay enroll in her program.
Miss Chew has 3 cats who keep her working hard and busy all the time! She is learning to become a professional photographer, and is already a professional musician/singer who performs regularly at the Summer Studios Art Gallery in Lomita.
