Hi, my name is Suzy Meyer. I was born in Los Angeles and have lived here most of my life. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree with an emphasis on culture in International Studies from the University of Oregon. I then obtained my Multiple Subject CLAD Clear teaching credential and Masters Degree in Education from Pepperdine University. This is my 6th year teaching at Birney School. I taught 1st grade for four years and am teaching my 2nd year in 2nd grade. Since I was a little girl, I couldn't think of any other job that I would love to do more than this. I contribute this to the fact that both of my parents are teachers. I will be getting married in July, 2008 in Kauai! My favorite thing to do these days is hang out with my nephew. He was born on my birthday last year, April 2nd. When I am not busy teaching, I enjoy going to the beach, shopping, scrapbooking, being with my family and friends and excercising. Most of all, I love teaching at Birney School.
