For your $7.00 membership fee, you can become a member of the PTA and assist us in making decisions that directly contribute to our school's success. Anyone can join.
Support Our Fund-Raising Projects
We have several programs that are completely dependent upon your financial support including our annual Parade-a-Jog-a-Thon, catalog sales, and Dining for Dollars$.
Serve As A Member Of Our School Site Council
The dates of the meetings are listed in the Principal's Newsletter and posted in the main office. You may also check our school event calendar.
Volunteer To Be A Hands-On-Art Docent or a Technology Docent in your child's classroom
Enrich our students' school experience by doing exciting and creative projects in the classrooms.
Support Our T-Shirt and Sweatshirt Sales
We have Birney Bobcat pride day every Friday. Please purchase a T-shirt and/or sweatshirt for your child so that they can participate in the Bobcat pride day.
Monday Packets
Every Friday afternoon volunteers are needed to put together important information that is sent home every Monday.
Shop the Galleria
Every time you shop at the Galleria, Birney earns points. Each year, we are in the top ten thanks to our generous families. The top ten schools earn money for the points earned.
Albertsons, Ralphs, Target, Vons, Washington Mutual and Office Depot all have profit sharing plans that help our school. Please inquire as to how you can sign up for each program as they all have a different process to sign up. Another way to benefit our school is to become a member of the escrip program (www.escrip.com). This program will contribute up to 8% of your purchases to Birney Elementary School and it's easy to sign up for on-line!
