Hello my name is Jessica Webster. I teach a fourth and fifth grade class at Birney Elementary School, in beautiful Redondo Beach. I love working at such a wonderful school filled with great teachers, parents and students!
I grew up in Corona, CA, where my family currently lives. I feel very fortunate that my family is close by, because I can see my little brother, who is in the second grade. He plays baseball and soccer. My sister lives near by, so shopping trips on the weekend are always a must! Weekends are busy, but always fun! I currently live in Playa del Rey with my husband Bryan. We were married on May 21, 2005. We have a total of 5 nieces and nephews. So, besides being a busy sister, I am also a very busy aunt! My favorite part about my family is that we enjoy all kinds of activities. We love to camp, fish and travel. Some of our favorite memories are boat trips to Catalina Island and camping trips to Lone Pine (Mt. Whitney).
I went to California State University Long Beach, where I was able to work as a college aide at Stephens Middle School. I was able to do some student teaching in Redondo Beach, and I just fell in love with the area! I love teaching and I feel so lucky to be a part of Birney!
