Save Time and Turn Your Receipts in as School!

February 1st, 2008 was the official “Opening Day” for this year's Galleria Rewards Program. When you shop at South Bay Galleria and surrounding stores now through Dec. 31, 2008, Jefferson Elementary can win up to $2,500 in Galleria gift certificates! Certificates are used to purchase student-use items that are needed for our school. Jefferson earned $350 in Galleria Rewards for the 2005-2006 school year! Our goal for 2008 is to be one of the top ten schools and earn at least $500. How can we do this? Here are some ways to earn points:

1. Bring your original receipts from any purchase made at South Bay Galleria to Guest Services (Level 1, Nordstrom Wing). Schools receive two points for each dollar spent in non-department stores and one point for every dollar spent in department stores. Every receipt is logged, stamped and returned immediately. You do not have to do this on the day of purchase unless it is a special promotion. And remember, every store participates, so don't throw away your movie theater or food court receipts.. Other participating stores are: EXPO Home Center, Comp USA, FitKids Gymnastics, Galleria Dental Care, Dr. Anh Truong-- Optometrist, and Redondo Beach Cinema 3.

2. Turn your receipt in at school. Send your receipt in to your teacher or put it in the “Galleria Rewards” envelope in the school office. If you want your receipt returned, put your child's name and rm # on the back. I will make a monthly run to the galleria.

3. Get 250 Points -- Free!
Log on to www.southbaygalleria.com and click on the Galleria e-club link on the left to register. Our school receives 250 bonus points for each new member’s application (limit one per household).

4. Watch out for special events! Check the web site www.southbaygalleria.com for special promotions or sign up for the e-club and receive e-notices. I will also be posting events on Mr. Edmund's e-newsletter or the Flipper Flyer, when possible. Look for the flyer in your child's backpack as well. Valentine's Promotion: Every receipt dated and logged February 1-29 will earn DOUBLE points! Earn QUADRUPLE points when item is purchased and logged on February 14th! 200 points will be earned for every gift card purchased on February 14th

5. Attend Kids Club and Get 100 Bonus Points
On the first Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. at the Food Court Stage (Level 3), kids will enjoy great fun and FREE entertainment and activities. Our school earns an additional 100 points per family attending. You also earn 100 points for the family of any other children you bring with you! Visit www.southbaygalleria.com to view schedule.
