Welcome to Room 12's Home Page!
Our teacher is: MRS. BONETATI/MRS. ROMAN
Room
12 is fortunate to have not one, but two teachers. Mrs. Diane Bonetati
teaches Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays while Mrs. Kristen Roman
teaches Tuesdays and Thursdays. There are also two daily instructional
assistants, Miss Sherry and Mr. Mirshemirani.
Mrs. Bonetati (left) grew up in West LA. She graduated from UCLA
and has been teaching elementary school for the past 15 years. Her
favorite things about Madison are helping students learn and the
wonderful people -- staff, students and families! She loves
chocolate, coffee, Disneyland, Lake Tahoe and happy endings. Her
favorite things to do are reading, toy shopping, taking pictures
of her kids and having fun with her husband, 2 1/2 year old son
and 7 month old daughter!
Mrs.
Roman (far right) was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
When she was a little girl, she loved to read books, play kickball,
and make snowmen in the winter. But her favorite thing to do was
play school with her brother and sister. She knew in First Grade
that she wanted to be a teacher!
Mrs. Roman has been a teacher for over ten years. She is also a
school counselor. She loves working with children! Her hobbies include:
tennis, traveling, taking pictures, and reading, but her favorite
thing to do is spend time with her husband and 2 year old son.
Miss Sherry Lopin (near right) was raised in Torrance, California.
She started a nursing degree and made a U-turn half way through.
She received a degree in childhood education instead. She has worked
in the Redondo school district for 16 years as an instructional
assistant in special education, teaching grades Pre-K through 5th
grade.
"Miss Sherry" loves working with children. She has 3
children and 2 cats. Her hobbies include gardening, canning and
crocheting and she collects penguins. She loves chocolate, coffee,
flowers, candles and spending time with her children. Her dislikes
include being late, very hot days and being sick and cleaning the
house.
We will be adding news and pictures to our
page throughout the year. Please check back soon!
