You can help raise money to support Madison PTA's many programs in any of the following ways:

Support Fall and Spring Fund-Raisers

Look out for notices in your Thursday packet about fund-raising events organized by the PTA.  We usually hold at least two major events per school year (e.g., gift wrap in the Fall, cookie dough/cheesecakes in Spring).

Sign Up For eScrip and Schoolpop

Now you can raise money for our school just by shopping at your favorite local and online stores - you don't even have to think about it or spend any extra money!  Stores registered with eScrip and Schoolpop donate a percentage of your purchase back to our school.  All you have to do is register your credit and debit cards with these organizations, then a donation will be made automatically every time you swipe your card or make an online purchase at an eligible store.

Register Your Grocery Store Club Cards

Local grocery stores such as Vons, Albertsons and Ralphs can also donate a percentage of your purchase back to our school every time you use your club card.  You must register your card in order for us to receive the benefit though!  For more information about how to do this, please visit your local grocery store service desk or visit the following web sites:

Save Box Tops and Campbell's Soup Labels

General Mills Inc. donates 10 cents to our school for every box top coupon we receive from their products.  Look out for the pink Box Tops For Education coupon on packets of Betty Crocker, Bisquick, Pillsbury, GoGurt, breakfast cereals and many more products!  Please clip the coupons carefully around the dotted lines - we cannot redeem mutilated coupons - and make a note to hand them in before the expiration date on the coupon!  Please place your coupons in an envelope marked "Box Tops" and return them to your child's teacher or drop them in the special collection tin in your child's classroom.

Campbell's gives us credit for labels we receive from their products to spend on school equipment.  Look out for the Campbell's Proof of Purchase labels on packages of Campbell's soups, Pace sauces, Pepperidge Farm cookies and crackers (including Goldfish) and many more products!  Please clip the labels carefully around the dotted lines - we cannot redeem mutilated labels!  Please place your labels in an envelope marked "Campbell's Labels" and return them to your child's teacher or drop them in the special collection tin in your child's classroom.

Box Tops and Labels Collection Competition

Our 2007-2008 fund-raising target is to earn $1,000 through Box Tops for Education and 10,000 points through Labels for Education!

To encourage contributions, we have launched a Collection Competition.  The students have been encouraged to solicit help from family members and friends in the collection of Box Tops and Labels.  At the end of each month, the class that turns in the most Box Tops and Labels in their grade level (K/1, 2/3 or 4/5) will earn a trip to our Treasure Box!  The winning classes will also be recognized at the following Monday Town Hall Meeting. 

Also, at the end of the school year, if we meet our goals for both Box Tops and Labels for Education, the students and teacher in the classroom with the highest overall collection will have the opportunity to purchase equipment through the Campbell's Labels catalog.  Let's start collecting!

Thank you once again for your outstanding participation in collecting Box Tops and Campbell's Labels for the month of February. Thanks to your efforts, we collected 1,344 labels this month. Thus far, for the school year 2007/2008, we have collected a total of 32,173 labels. WOW!!

We understand that not everyone can spare the time to help out at school or support school functions and fund-raisers but that they would still like to help in some way.  In this case, you may wish to consider a cash donation.  Simply write a check for any amount to "Madison PTA" and give it to your child's teacher or to the school office.  Every little helps and all donations are always very gratefully received.  THANK YOU for your support!
