Dear Parents and Guardians,
“Time flies as you’re having fun”, or so they
say. I can’t believe the 2007-2008 school year is already
upon us. There must be some truth to that saying because we definitely
had some fun last year! For me personally, I couldn’t have
asked for a better first year as Madison’s principal, and
I have the staff, students, and parents to thank for that. I am
truly excited about the upcoming school year, and the opportunity
to continue serving as your principal.
Madison School is going to build on the tremendous momentum we
generated last year, and lots of new ideas are in the works. This
year our focus will be on continuing to strengthen our overall sense
of community (Cometville), and working together to meet the academic,
social, emotional, and physical needs of the Madison students and
their families.
I want to take this opportunity to encourage everyone to be an
active participant in the Cometville community. Joining our fabulous
PTA, volunteering on campus, and attending scheduled events are
not only beneficial to the school, but they also serve as an opportunity
to bond with your child(ren) and show them how much you value education
and this wonderful school that we are all so fortunate to share.
Please feel free to contact us anytime you have a question or want
to express a good idea or a kind word of support. On behalf of the
entire Madison School staff, I want to welcome you to an exciting
and highly anticipated 2007-2008 school year.
Warmest regards,
David T. Hoffman
