The Department of Child Nutrition Services provides more than just food: there is a strong emphasis placed on nutrition and nutrition education.

At the elementary sites, students have the opportunity to visit the Produce Bar which is stocked daily with a garden-fresh assortment of fine fruits and vegetables. Every Wednesday, produce from local farmers is featured on the Produce Bar. At various times throughout the year, students will be able to sample baby carrots, cucumbers, kiwis, tomatoes, zucchini sticks and more!

This tool can help you help your child make the best choices possible in the cafeteria.

Healthy snacks such as reduced fat cookies, baked chips, water, 100% juice drinks and Gatorade are offered daily at our middle schools. This is in addition to our healthy meals.

Our goal is to provide nutritious choices that will help students develop healthy eating habits and succeed in school.
