STAFF All of our staff are employees of the Redondo Beach Unified School District. All teachers are licensed by the state of California. Our instructional aides work closely with the teachers and participate in all staff training. Many staff members are certified in First Aide and CPR. |

OUR GOALS1. An effective program that meets the developmental, linguistic, cultural, social, and emotional needs of children. 2. A physical environment that is comfortable and welcoming and offers a wide variety of age appropriate activities. 3. Activities and experiences that promote individual growth in: · Personal and social competency · Effectiveness as learners · Physical and motor competence · Safe and healthy behavior 4. Ongoing and systematic communication with families to facilitate child success and family goals. 5. A highly qualified and dedicated teaching staff that reflects a child/adult ratio of 8:1 in preschool, and 14:1 in the elementary grades. 6. A quiet homework time for school age children. 7. Evaluation to refine and improve the program using state adopted assessment tools such as Desired Results Developmental Profile, Parent Survey, Classroom Environmental Rating Scale, plus observations and conferences. |
