Redondo Shores High School, serving students from Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach and Manhattan Beach, is a designated California Model necessary small High School.  The school itself has been in existence since the Fall of 1993 and moved into a brand new school facility during the Summer of 1999.
     The school is located approximately one mile from the beach overlooking the baseball field of the one traditional high school in the district, Redondo Union High School.  Under the necessary small high school formula our enrollment is limited to 120 students.  The staff consists of a Director of Alternative Education ( who supervises the district Independent Study Program), one Educational Advisor, six Teachers, one Resource Aide, one school Secretary, one Registrar/Attendence clerk and one Campus Supervisor.
