Hot lunches are eaten in the school cafeteria. Students bringing lunch from home eat in the lunch bench area. Hot lunches may be purchased for $1.50. This includes milk. Milk alone may be purchased for 25¢. A Lunch ticket for 20 lunches may be purchased in the school office for $30.00. Checks are to be made payable to Redondo Beach Unified School District. Cash is accepted as well.

A breakfast program is provided beginning at 7:45 AM. Students may purchase a breakfast is a similar manner to purchasing a lunch. Students eating breakfast are excepted to remain in the cafetorium where supervision is provided until the playground supervision begins at 8:05 AM.

Students may bring a nutritious snack to eat in the lunch area at morning recess. Gum and candy are not allowed at school. Juices are recommended over soft drinks.

Lunch Permits:

Students leaving school to eat lunch at home require a lunch permit. Lunch permits are available in the school office and must have parent signature. The permit allows students to go to their own home for lunch only. We ask that students with lunch permits stop by the office and tell the secretary they are going home for lunch. In case of an emergency of some kind, this will allow the school to account for the whereabouts of all students.
